CICC French Information Intern
The CICC is looking for an on-site French Communications Intern to assist the Senior Communications Officer in the CICC office in New York with various translation needs; CICC website update; production of publications; and media monitoring among other tasks.
About the CICC:
The Coalition for the ICC is an international network of over 2,500
non-governmental organizations working to support the functioning of a
permanent, fair and independent International Criminal Court (ICC).
CICC members are from every region of the world and comprise a broad
range of subjects, including human rights, women's issues, disarmament,
children's issues and others. The overarching outreach objectives for
the CICC include: promoting education and awareness of the ICC and Rome
Statute; facilitating the effective participation of civil society in
the ICC process; and promoting universal acceptance and ratification of
the Rome Statute and the full and effective implementation of the
treaty's obligations into national law.
Qualifications:
- Students working towards a BA/MA degree in International Relations,
Law, Human Rights or related field.
- Native French only.
- Excellent translation skills
Please note that this is an unpaid internship. We are preferably
looking for a full-time intern available from 6 months to one year.
