CICC Portuguese Information Intern
This internship is with WFM's Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC) project. The CICC is looking for a Portuguese Information Intern to assist the Africa Regional Coordinator with various translation needs, including background and information papers, CICC fact sheets, articles for newsletters and other translations as needed. The Portuguese Information Intern will also assist with the moderation of the Lusophone list serve and some media-related work, such as developing our database of Lusophone journalists and drafting various letters to government officials for our Universal Ratification Campaign. The intern will also be responsible for staying in contact with our Lusophone members to devise plans for and further advance CICC advocacy efforts in Lusophone countries. The internship can be full-time or part-time (2-3 days per week) and must be for a period of 2-4 months. Please note that this internship is unpaid.
Qualifications:
- Advanced undergraduate or graduate student working towards a degree in International Relations, Law,
Human Rights, or related field. Knowledge of International Criminal Law is helpful but not necessary.
- Portuguese native speaker preferred.
