Research and Special Projects Intern, International Democratic Governance
Description
This internship with WFM-IGP is devoted to research and ongoing special projects on International Democratic Governance. The work of this intern provides an important foundation for the Program’s advocacy and monitoring work.
Potential topics include the international financial and economic architecture, environmental governance, integrity of international law, and the accessibility of the UN to the public.
The intern will report to the Senior Program Officer. The internship can be full-time or part-time (at least 3 days per week). Please note that this internship is unpaid, although full-time interns will receive a small per diem.

Qualifications
o Undergraduate or graduate student working towards degree in International Relations, Politics or related field
o Excellent written and oral communication, research, and writing skills
o Proficiency using Microsoft Office software
o Experience working with databases and/or internet research preferred
o Ability to work independently and within the constraints of tight deadlines
o Proficiency in English required, additional language proficiencies are a plus
o Interest in WFM-IGP’s mission
