WFM Graphic Design Intern
WFM is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team at the International Secretariat in New York City. The Graphic Design Intern will assist in the design of the WFM annual report, and outreach materials. The intern will work with the Communications team and relevant WFM staff, and report to the Human Resources Assistant. This internship is ideal for advanced students who have significant design experience and want the opportunity to develop their own designs to build their portfolio. Their finished products will be visible online and used for our campaigns throughout the world. The internship can be part time (2-3 days per week or the equivalent) or full time (5 days per week with a possibility for a stipend). The intern may combine in-office and off-site work. Responsibilities
• Produce of WFM Annual Report
• Create templates for Annual Report and Action Updates
• Undertake special projects and assignments as needed
Qualifications
• Experience with Graphic Design Software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
• Good oral and written communications skills in English required.
• Ability to apply a common design to different outreach materials and formats
• Creativity and ability to work independently and as a team member
• Availability 15 to 25 hours a week (a combination of in-office and off-site work possible)
• Interest in/ knowledge of WFM’s mission preferred
