WFM-IGP Web Developer Intern

The World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy (WFM-IGP) is a global citizens' movement working for peace, conflict prevention, international justice and sustainable development. The International Secretariat (IS) of WFM-IGP is co-located in The Hague, the Netherlands and New York, USA and has ECOSOC consultative status with the United Nations. The IS is the administrative and coordinating body of WFM-IGP and its global network of Member and Associated Organizations. The IS serves and directs various programs and currently oversees the following projects: the Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC), the Responsibility to Protect - Engaging Civil Society (R2P-CS), ReformtheUN.org and UNElections.org, amongst others. The World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy is currently seeking an intern, who will provide web support for our office in New York. In these capacities, the Web Developer Intern will report to the Website and Database Developer. The internship can be full-time or part-time (2-3 days per week) and must be for a period of 3-4 months. Please note that this internship is unpaid though full-time interns will receive a small per diem. There are also stipends available for those who apply. Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with Front - End Development
Assist with website’s maintenance

Qualifications

Required
Knowledge in PHP and MySQL,
Knowledge in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Knowledge in Microsoft office specially Excel
Knowledge with Open Source Content Management Systems as Joomla, Drupal, CodeIgniter
Excellent attention to detail

Desired but not required familiarity with Raisers Edge
