    Promoting Federalism

  • There are many misconceptions about world federalism. WFM works to educate the public about federalism in the modern context and re-brand federalism to demonstrate how applicable it is for the global community.

WFM publishes many books that are designed to educate people about the history and beliefs of federalism and provide individuals with information that is pertinent to specific programs that WFM runs. We also have several brochures that detail our mission and work.

The Federalist Debate is published three times a year through the Einstein Center for International Studies. It tries to unite and explain the different efforts towards federalism that are taking place throughout the world.

WFM has been an active member of the Center for UN Reform Education (CURE) since its inception. CURE aims to encourage public discussions of various proposals for UN reform, with a view towards improving the UN's effectiveness and its centrality in the multilateral system. CURE publishes many book on specific issues within the scope of UN reform. WFM also works with the Center for Teaching about the UN in their efforts to promote UN curricula in school and greater understanding of the UN and international issues by conducting conferences and workshops to trains teachers. CTAUN believes that informed and active citizens are vital to progress on peace initiatives throughout the entire world.
